Mag Box Help Tutorials : How to unblock your MAG 322 via a firmware downgrade

If you have done a firmware upgrade on your MAG 322 IPTV box, you may have found your IPTV Portal has been blocked.
This is because the new latest firmware allows Infomir to block portal URLs that they have received copyright infringement complaints about.

You may have tried to do a firmware downgrade on the MAG322 yourself, but have get stuck with the error message “Unsupported Architecture”. This is because the latest MAG322 firmware is blocking the firmware downgrade.

But there is a way to downgrade the firmware on the MAG322.

Unplug your MAG322 IPTV box from the power

Press and hold the small reset button on the back of the MAG322 IPTV box

Wait until the white light on the front of the MAG322 IPTV box starts to flash fast

You can then release the small reset button.

The MAG322 IPTV box will now start to boot up.

Press and hold the MENU button on your MAG322 remote control

The “blue” BIOS screen will then appear.

You then navigate to the Upgrade Tools and Press OK

Then Press OK again to enter the Upgrade Software option

Then insert your USB Drive with your MAG322 firmware

Press OK to enter the Using USB” option

The firmware will load into your MAG322 box

The Mag 322 IPTV box will then reboot, and you will have downgraded your MAG 322 firmware.
